About PETSA
Founded in 2006, PETSA, a subsidiary of Bay City Trading, has grown into an established supplier within the Southern African pet industry.
Our business combines local manufacturing, wholesale supply, importing and distribution, supported by an extensive distribution network.
We supply products for dogs, cats, small animals, birds and aquatic pets across brands including Feline Flair, Wagit, Snugs, Bene, Polly’s Choice, Tuggers and PETSA, while also distributing GiGwi products in Southern Africa.
Strong Local Manufacturing
Local manufacturing is a major part of PETSA’s business, with strong capabilities across textile-based pet products, catnip-related products and selected treat and enrichment ranges.
Our locally manufactured textile range includes products such as dog beds, car seat covers, doggy steps, dingy covers, pet jerseys, blankets and other textile pet products.
Our catnip range extends across catnip toys, catnip beds, sprays, powders and cat scratchers. We also grow and harvest our own catnip locally, giving us greater involvement in the process from crop to finished product.
Our locally developed Bene range includes locally baked dog treats in a variety of flavours, stuffed cow hooves, peanut butter jars and Bene Stuff It paste. The range is made without added salt, no artificial colourants, artificial flavouring or preservatives.
Our local manufacturing capabilities also support private-label opportunities for retail partners across selected product categories.
